In an unnamed Middle Eastern city, a place where dissent is stifled and freedom precariously hangs in the balance; Khaled and his friends, a group of rebellious creatives, establish an underground radio station, using it as a platform to challenge the status quo. Their creation of a song, initially for Khaled’s girlfriend, unexpectedly goes viral and earns them a burgeoning following and ignites a cultural revolution across the region. Of course, it also draws the attention of those who threaten to compromise their lives and safety. “T.B.A." showcases a blend of talent from across the Arab world, from musicians to actors, dancers and illustrators, as resilient responses to the encroaching totalitarianism familiar to many people in the the larger world today.
