Faraya

In the sleepy ski resort town of Faraya, the murder of a Saudi investor shatters a community and its prospects for a better future to the core. With the local authorities eager to cover it up, a female detective dispatched from the Saudi embassy forms an odd friendship that turns into a powerful bond with a local Lebanese police investigator. Together, they contend with angry townsfolk, resentful colleagues, anxious investors, and a sinister enemy that will stop at nothing to silence them forever. Faraya combines the elements of chilling crime and dark humor of Fargo to present a new vision of crime drama from the Arab world.
